The State of MN has legalized the sale of cannabis for recreational consumption for adults. Find out what you need to be considered for a business permit to sell cannabis products in the City of East Grand Forks.

The Administration Department is handling all requests, applications, and inquiries. admin@eastgrandforks.gov

The two zones have been designated and lottery for applicants concluded in August 2025.

The selectees are working through the state-designated process in order to become fully licensed to operate in East Grand Forks.
