How to Fill Out Jobs Progress Form

 

How to fill this out?

Existing Jobs: Enter the total number of jobs, the average earnings of all the jobs, the average of all the benefits offered (like dental, stock options, etc.) that the company had when applying for financial incentives/funding.

Jobs Created: Hopefully there were some jobs created. The jobs created may have had disadvantaged and/or justice-impacted staff who were hired to fill these roles. Input the total number of new jobs created, their average wages and benefits, then total it. The pink and green entries indicate that the two jobs that were created hired a justice-impacted employee and a disadvantaged employee. So their data will inform the "created jobs" data averages to enter. 

Jobs Retained: If you're doing well, you have employees sticking around. Perhaps an existing job was discontinued between the time of application and this form, indicate the number of jobs that were retained, their average earnings, average of all benefits, and enter the total.

Why do we need this? 

The state requires we report out each year the cumulative results of how these different funding programs help our community. They aggregate the data across all MN cities to determine future legislature, funding locations & initiatives, and business programs.
